There are too many effects going on. The first would look neat if the text was in and out of some soft smoke so parts were being concealed and some not to give it more depth. It looks too sharp and a bit weird, so the soft smoke would look much nicer on top of that. I don't really get the second one.

Finally we get someone who knows their shit. It looks way too fucking sharp.

Thanks Enz, appreciate it. I blurred and sharpened certain parts to create depth but I didn't quite get the look I wanted.

It has sharpened too much showing too many artefacts. As for the blur it looks like you smeared a finger a long it - the same look as if you smudge a pencil drawing. It makes it look disjointed and not flowing like smoke should be. Perhaps look into some tutorials on how to do smoke? I am sure there are some nice ones out there that would help. :buddy:

I like the first one, but it's a little too sharp as Emz said, and the second one is better than the first in my opinion.
