Is there any possible way I can get Ventrilo running on my OS X machine? The (Ventrilo) server uses the GSM 6.10 codec and I couldn't find any work around. I doubt we would change codecs to Speex for the sake of me running it on my MBP.

There is no way to do this presently other than running the Windows vent client in Wine/Cedega/Crossover/Parallels/VMWare/etc. This is because Apple will not license GSM from Microsoft and Ventrilo cannot redistribute it.

For Vent and GMod try using paralells 6 and/or bootcamp if you have a windows install disk
