I'm not a fan on how the guns seem to be handled but its way too late for that to change now.
Still very hyped for the game
It just keeps getting better and better.
Looks even better than 2033, and I was amazed by that game.
Sounds a lot more dynamic than 2033 as well, cannot wait.
Personally, I'm a bit worried that they'll be removing the survival element of munition scarcity around the Metro; I really adored that in Metro 2033, and would like to see it come back in Last Light, but from the way they've it, it seems like weapons will be more accessible and is more viable to have gun-fights rather than sneaking past (or killing) sentries or anything of the like, but that may just be me.
Either way, amazing trailer.

Did you watch the video at all?

I certainly did watch the trailer, and I'm well aware that they're trying to tell you that going into gunfights like a raving madman probably is not a good idea. It's just one of those niggling feelings that I have that it will be easier to have gunfights. The gameplay trailer with the minigun comes to mind.
Don't take my peculiar opinion to heart, however, since I'm probably entirelly wrong and I'm interpreting it the wrong way.

So you didn't actually watch the video in the OP? If not, please do and take note of every single word he says after the 3:12 mark.

I rewatched it just to be certain it was the same thing after you said that all the way through, and yeah, saw this a couple of hours ago. I just believe that what is said in trailers should be taken with a pinch of salt as to not get too hyped about the game-- and don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to the game -- and that's one of them, regardless, you're right; misunderstood it entirely, apologies.
It is nice to see that they are not dumbing down the game for the COD players. I have always adored metro's difficulty especially on the level where you have to cross the front lines.
If they made the AI a lot smarter, this is going to amazing
I wish these trailers were available in Russian
playing through stalker and metro in Russian really is a lot better
because if I wanted to hear niko mah cowzeen every 5 seconds I'd play something else

But half the fun in Call of Pripyat is walking in to Yanov and hearing Hawaiian yell ALOOOOOOHAAAAA

I had to re-run that place so many times, except for my second playthrough, when I actually knew where to go.
damn the guys going through the grate in the ground was cool
I don't know why i read the last part of OP's title as "Ranger Danger"
Does this mean I can fight for a faction, or at least sort of assist them?
If it means that I can help the Commies fight off the fascists, at least occasionally, then I am okay with that.
