B-17 and B-24 Take off - General

These were here for the weekend at our local airfield along with a P-51 (for some charity thing I think). Don't you just hate it when you're recording a vid and screw up the name to something obvious? :v: Happens to me a lot :<

At my local Airport, we had a B-25 come in and land, and offered everyone at the airport at the time rides for 300$ a person. Almost shelled out the cash too, these old war birds are amazing.

Yeah you could get rides in all 3 I think (although you might have to be small to go in the P-51) and apparently they set up skydiving out of the bombers this weekend but the weather was crap so they cancelled it (that's what some guy said who was there when I was recording this, I think he's full of shit though). We have a B-17 here, Sentimental Journey, seen it take off once, and I see it flying around all the time. It's fucking awesome. I've been in it as well.

I rode in the Liberty Belle when it came around to Boeing field a few months back, too bad it crashed.
