Recently a friend lent me all of his nirvana cds I ripped the music from it onto windows media player and now I have all of their stuff. Now I'd like to know what their best stuff is Don't say anything from nevermind because I've played the fuck outta it. So, what's some good stuff I should give a listen that isn't from nevermind (User was banned for this post ("Missed the other Nirvana thread" - Rusty100))
My favorite and the usual Nirvana songs. Smells like teen spirit Where did you sleep last night All apologies Rape me Come as you are Heart Shaped Box
Breed In Bloom Come as you are Rape me Heart shaped box Smells like teen spirit Lithium Just a few but yanow
nevermind is my fave album
You're all naming their most well known songs. Coming from a die-hard obsessed. fan: Serve the servants. Heart-shaped box. Blew. (The way the guitar fits with the vocals is amazing) Dive. Stain. Son of a Gun. (Hell yeah) Turnaround. Radio Friendly Unit Shifter. Something In The Way. Breed. All Apologies - Live at Reading Festival 1992.
Turnaround Heart Shaped box Smells Like Teen Spirit (stfu, I like the song) In Bloom (Guitar Queer-o spoiled the greatness of this song!) Lithium Stain Breed About A Girl (The live version) Imodium Screw it, everything off incesticide! Edit I forgot Rape Me!
About A Girl (The live version)
Which? I have 7. You probably mean Unplugged In NY. Very very good.
All Apologies is my favourite Nirvana song.
Couldn't you just listen to everything and decide for yourself?
This is my favourite song by them. And it's a cover :v:
Polly Come As You Are On A Plain (Unplugged) You Know You're Right About A Girl Rape Me Been A Son The Man Who Sold The World
I honestly think most of their super popular songs are of their worst. My favorites.. the ones I can think of off the top of my head that is. Lake of Fire Polly Breed Aneurysm
Negative Creep
You Know You're Right and Bleach are good.
where do bad folks go when they diiiiiiiiiieee?
The live album is the best one [editline]04:18PM[/editline] Infact just get rid of Incesticide and Bleach, I got both of those but didn't like em
I would suggest forming your own opinion about the music. Listen through all of the songs (there really isn't anything, well, bad) and find what fits your tastes, and not the tastes of others. But, for the sake of the thread, I suggest listening to: School (it's on Bleach, and it grows on you) Serve the Servants (first track on In Utero, and it is pure Nirvana) Lithium (very cool track, on Nevermind) All Apologies (just listen to it, can be found on In Utero)
If you have all their stuff... you could always just listen to all of it?
Couldn't you just listen to everything and decide for yourself?
I will in time, thanks to everyone for the suggestions and listening currently
The live album is the best one [editline]04:18PM[/editline] Infact just get rid of Incesticide and Bleach, I got both of those but didn't like em
They have very few studio albums, why discount some of them?
The live album is the best one [editline]04:18PM[/editline] Infact just get rid of Incesticide and Bleach, I got both of those but didn't like em
Incesticide is my favourite. I wouldn't necessarily say get rid of them. Damn it OP just listen to it all yourself.
