Hey DD, thought I would tell you guys about my first ever experience on acid.
After a lengthy amount of time searching, I had finally found someone who had some. And with that, I wasted no time acquiring three tabs of acid for myself and two friends. Once we had them, we made haste to friend number one, who we will call Jack, my other friend being called Terry. We smoked a joint, piled up a few DVD's (We thought we could make it through all of them, we were wrong) and placed the tabs in our mouths. With an hour to spare, we decided to use our last hour of clear headed-ness to cook a pizza, and it was a pretty dam good pizza, but I didn't really want more than one slice.
Anyway, once that was done we went upstairs and put on the first film of the night "Totoro" which in summary is about two kids who have a completely average life yet live near a forest with friendly rabbit, cat, pokemon type troll thingies, and that's when I started to get some mild visuals. I first noticed a change when I looked above the screen, and saw a northern lights type color display happening. I kept on diverting my attention to this light show that thirty minutes into the film I had no fucking clue what was going on. I decided to ask the fellas whether they wanted to go outside for some fresh air and so that me and Terry could smoke, they agreed.
We made our way into the garden and sat down to roll cigarettes, all the while chatting about how we are feeling the effects. My friend Jack looks up in the sky and says "Look at those stars guys, there are so many. How can we comprehend how many stars there are when we can't even comprehend the population on our planet?"
"We arn't ment for it" Terry said "We are still adapting to having the know how to somehow grasp the fact that there is more than this hunk of rock". I lean back on my chair and take a drag of my cigarette when I spot something in the far corner of the garden, something I find comforting. I turned to the guys and pointed out "Yeah, like its easy to comprehend the amount of people here now, like you, me, Terry and Midget Mgee" (I thought if I titled my trippy friend with Mgee to make him seem more friendly to my friends).
"I have had this big tree turned giant tree man behind me for the past 15 minutes" replied Jack "But I didn't want to say anything to scare you guys, but seeing as you came out with that...".
We all laughed before realising that we had finished smoking. Before we moved on, we decided to go over and salute the tree man in return for a good trip. On my way through the kitchen, I was distracted by the fishbowl, and I am not sure how long I spent watching the fish, but it must have been a good while.
Terry, Jack and I then moved out into the front of Jack's house, I bopped in my headphones and played Beethoven's seventh symphony movement 2, and my god it felt as though the world was on me and my midget sidekicks shoulders, even though I wasn't quite sure what I was ment to do. Then, genius struck, I must get a Crunchie bar. And so we traveled, through a not so great part of london to the nearest corner store. We all went in, and I sensed that we were all trying to hide the fact we were tripping.
"Crunchie?" I asked the man at the counter "Oh, and a pack of king bl..." The midget shook his head "King Silver rolling papers". He pointed at the chocolate bar section and placed a pack of papers on the counter. I then slowly proceeded to pay the man before heading back, moving quickly to avoid attention, from anything real or unreal.
We then made it back and chilled out on the sofa, Terry was reading extracts from "Koolaid Acid Test", Jack was looking at this trippy ass sculpture of a bumblebee and I had my eyes closed enjoying some weird ass visuals that I couldn't have imagined to have thought up on the fly, it was wierd. The last few hours were spent like that before each one of us finally drifted off into a deep sleep.
So yeah, I had a pretty sweet Saturday.
