Diverse story!
Bigger Landmass to Explore!
Races, Lots of them.
Quests Quests QUESTS!!!
Big Landmass!!!
Lots of Cities!
Lots of Items!
Lots of Sexual activity possibilities!
Nice char models with Breasts!
Breasts!
But they don't need to add STDs...
Lusty Argonian Maid questline, please.
But seriously: more diverse landscapes and improved AI are high on my list of what I'd like.
A longer main quest and lots of side quests would be nice
better combat system
I'd also like to see a speech check system like in Fallout 3 and New Vegas. It'd be a huge improvement over the one in Morrowind and Oblivion.
I don't even care about the engine, I just want more Eldercrack.
If they add multiplayer it should be instanced dungeons and arena fights.
Dumb oversized breasts and sex all day long.
Yeah, no.
:frog:
Whoever said sex all day?
I said possibilities.
Also, I don't think I said over-sized breasts either...
Someone is being optimistic huh?

Still a pretty stupid idea.
Co-op maybe?
Still a pretty stupid idea.
Yea, but you know.
I as a man, a human, and a pervert like/love breasts.
and as such I personally would like big breast in my games...
oh i wish there was a setting for people like me...
[editline]23rd November 2010[/editline]
of course that's where mods come in handy

There are plenty of Oblivion mods on the Nexus for that.
Arkane (developers of Dark Messiah) being bought by Zenimax (owner of Bethesda) might mean a good combat system finally.
I want the landscapes to be more like Morrowind, and the game to be on the id Tech 5 engine.
I want Fallout 4 with id Tech 5 engine, not this.
Arkane (developers of Dark Messiah) being bought by Zenimax (owner of Bethesda) might mean a good combat system finally.
Really hope so

While a non-Gamebryo Fallout would be awesome, Elder Scrolls had been out of action for quite a while now, we already have New Vegas as a latest release plus there's a Fallout MMO coming out, Elder Scrolls V would be the better thing Bethesda would develop in the future
Then go play Oblivion, add some dumb kawaii desu~ mods and fap off to dumb catgirls/furries.
Holy shit, you must of been born out of your mothers ass to have that shitty view of other people.
I'll just get out of your way so you can kill some babies or something.
Ontopic, I actually would like Bethesda to make a new engine, even if it takes a few extra years.
I think it would be worth it.

Yes please.
If they make a new Elder Scrolls game, all they need to do to make it an instant buy for me is keep the modability of most of their other recent games.
I have no reason to doubt it either since I think it's been that way since Morrowind.
What about a mass effect/dragon age inspired relationship "quest lines" ?
I mean it's more and more common to have complex relationships with people in video games (fable, dragon age and mass effect) so why not including it in such an open world ?
Anyway, TeS is a rpg first, not a simdate, so let's put the small ideas such as love interests aside and concentrate on the important stuff.
Huge landscape, shitload of weapons varieties (borderlands style weapon generator maybe ?), crossbows, probably gunpowder bases weapons (rare though), more quests, and more modability.

I think it would actually be pretty cool to have some sort of a companion with a relationship side to it. Completely optional though.
Say I meet some woman or man in a city and he/she seems like a capable combatant. Maybe I want to make a move. Maybe we start going on quests together. Maybe we do things in the privacy of our own tint. Who knows.

As long as it doesn't turn out like those ridiculous mods.
Dark Messiah combat, Multiplayer Arena that players bet on in their SP game, MP Arena characters separate from SP characters and developed only through the arena (gold earned to buy better gear).
I'd rather like the idea of a progressive arena multiplayer experience that people bet/watch. Of course, it'd have to be integrated seamlessly into the Single Player game which I imagine would be difficult.
More magic possibilities, kinda like Midas Magic.
I agree, we need more wacky magic.
As long as it doesn't turn out like those ridiculous mods.
Of course. I don't think I've ever tried any of the actual romance mods, but I did use a few companion mods.
The only one that I ever really enjoyed was Sonya, and eventually Red Sonya. Pretty sure that was how you spelled her name.
Whatever the case, I thought that was the most functional companion mod I ever used.
I want them to keep the Gamebryo engine. Despite it's flaws, I fucking love it.
That said:
Better combat system.
More spells.
More fucking voice actors.
Other than that, I just want more of the same.
The Elder Scrolls V wont have that... open world "You just arrived! The world is in your hands, now go at it!" feeling. It's hard to explain, there's just something about the Gamebryo engine and Oblivion which made it awesome.

whoops meant to say "The Elder Scrolls V wont have that ... open world "You just arrived! The world is in your hands, now go at it!" feeling without Gamebryo engine.
I hope it has spears and levitation.
As long it doesn't become a relationship simulator :colbert:
Well I would want some sort of involving relationship questline thing.
Still completely optional, but you could do things to make your love interest like you more.
I dunno, I guess I just want deeper roleplaying. More than just "I want to be a somewhat good/evil person who kills things with ranged weapons/melee weapons/magic/magical ranged weapons/magical melee weapons."
