oh wow boobies and generic rammstein esque industrial metal
what an age to live in
Sick, a new series of the wombles is out.
Personally I only really enjoyed a quarter of the album, but I'm a sucker for his unique voice so it was purchased anyway. Also the first few seconds of electronic notes looped makes a great alarm tone for your phone!
Edit: The video itself is an interesting premise, the song wasn't one my my favorites though.
Also here is some info about the furry creatures as I was curious myself: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kukeri
Bought the deluxe version of Skills in Pills but i only like half of the album really. Still, i fucking love Lindemann's work and Rammstein itself (y'know this is LINDEMANN).

it took me a minute to realize you were being sarcastic. this is a great age and boobs and generic rammstein esque industrial metal are both classic! you must be fun to hang out with
Is it only me or does Lindemann's songs are pretty shit? I am/was a huge fan of Rammstein but this is just..
Aaah, I saw this last night on my phone, I was just about to post it, seems someone got there first.
At first I thought the video was a bit weird and creepy (just like most videos with Lindemann and Rammstein)
but It became more interesting once you did some reading into some of what was going on.
The fur suits there for example are Kukeri.
'Kukeri are elaborately costumed Bulgarian men who perform traditional rituals intended to scare away evil spirits.'
I Can't wait to see 'the making of' video for this, should give an interesting insight to what they were thinking and lead them to making this video.
EDIT: Kukeri's are my new fetish. I just want to buy one and cuddle it, it looks so floofy and warm ;-;

The new album is an experiment from them, Lindemann actually does bugger all apart from the lyrics, Peter Tagtgren does all the music. There are only a handful of songs I really like on the album ( Fat, Praise Abort, That's my heart ) but I like what Lindemann himself is trying to do, he's not exactly a pro at english and I enjoy the completely tongue in cheek songs even if their grammar isn't particularly fantastic.
The fact it's lost Rammstein's sort of energy is a bit frustrating, but hey ho

Horrah!
Making of! :)

It's better to make a new form of material than recycle Rammstein's style - Till probably wanted a break, and I think that's made quite evident from his devotion to Lindemann, you've got to give Till (and Tagtgren) credit for that at least, and while it's not exactly to Rammstein standards, it's pretty fucking good.

What did you expect? Besides the fact that you clearly knew from your post that Rammstein's music videos (and songs) are sexual in nature, you also knew that Rammstein was an industrial group, and thus, Lindemann would be (partly) too... could you find anything worth picking on that isn't so obvious that it is actually in the title of the thread?
should have done cowboy or yukon as a single instead of this song. bad choice....
It was just kinda gross. And sounds like a rehash of the same exact song I've heard from this clown like about a bajillion times before. Theatrics can only take you so far, you've got to have -some- type of substance to your music as well.
these lyrics were goddamn terrible

Yeah, the lyrics are quite hit-and-miss, but I think the "what the fuck" reaction was what they were going for.
