The Inbetweeners is an upcoming film directed by Ben Palmer, who directed all six episodes of the second series of The Inbetweeners. Even though the plot has yet to be confirmed, what has been announced is that the film will follow the four boys on holiday in Malia, Crete. Filming began on 6 February 2011, with filming beginning in Mallorca, Spain on 19 February 2011. It stars Simon Bird, Joe Thomas, James Buckley and Blake Harrison, who all play their respective characters from the 2008 sitcom. Film4 and E4 are funding the film, and it will be released in cinemas on 19 August 2011.
Fuck yes, the series was hilarious.
Although I was never a fan of the series having not watched an episode, I can see this being quite good.
having not watched an episode
do it
must be good if it has pendulum in the trailer
Looking forward to this, loved the show.
Heh knee deep in clunge. Should be good I reckon, though I hope this is it and they don't do any more.

Eurgh, I know I'm most probably not welcome here, but I couldn't stand the series :frown: Gonna have to listen to my friends constantly quote the movie now

I have a sudden urge to watch the series again.
I've watched a few episodes. This actually looks pretty good.
The last series was a bit of a disappointment, hope this is much better. One of my friends is an extra in it. She got £40 for walking around in 2 scenes and met all the guys, says they're pretty similar to their characters, just played downed a bit.

They're all really posh, apart from the guy who plays Will.
The last series was a bit of a disappointment, hope this is much better.
Yeah, I definitely agree with that and pretty much everyone I've ever chatted to about the Inbetweeners says the third series is way worse than the first two. Thankfully though it says it's directed by the guy who directed the second series. I have no idea who directed what series but if he didn't do the third I'm all right with that.

No fun allowed.

I also like how the '...brilliant.' is my reaction to every other joke
I loved the inbetweeners, i watched it over and over, but yeah i gotta admit when people endlessly quote it, it really annoys me.
I loved the inbetweeners, i watched it over and over, but yeah i gotta admit when people endlessly quote it, it really annoys me.
It sounds hipster of me, but my favourite series was series 1. Nobody knew about it, I was the only person I knew who watched it. "Bus Wanker" got really old after the 10th time hearing it the day after the episode aired.
i cannot wait for this, just for everyone wanting to see the series again, every episode is up on 4OD on YouTube.
They're not, they're completely different than their characters. They're all really posh, apart from the guy who plays Will.
well, either my friend is a liar or they take their roles very seriously.
I'm lucky enough to live in Australia where no one has ever seen this show. So I never hear any quotes from it except from a few friends. Also can't fucking wait for this!
FOOTBALL FRIEND
I wonder if Jay will finally get laid
The guy who played Jay used to sometimes be in a club in town, apparently he was a conceited cunt.
Looking forward to this.
Brilliant. I just finished watching the entire first and second series for the 3rd time :3
This can either be brilliant or shit.
Is this show good? Only thing similar to it I've watched was Skins, but I fucking LOVED that. Still waiting for a movie to wrap up Season 2
I have watched the Inbetweeners online, and I love it. I have a feeling the ending is going to be them all getting laid though.
