Can't believe that this type of sportsmanship is allowed in ANY event.
Well that's what happens when you cherry pick the kind of people who would unironically say they're "pro" at CoD and then put them all together
No effing way this is not staged
Ahahahah you can't be serious :suicide:
Hardly what I would call "professional"
These people take the game WAY too seriously.
So... basically they are all overgrown twelve year olds hopped up on redbull and rage?
These people take the game WAY too seriously.
They are getting paid though. If anyone's allowed to take it seriously, it would be them. But I do agree that their behavior is quite childish.
What a bunch of brats
At first I was like "wow, cunts..." but then I realised I swear a fuckton when I play video games and that isn't even competitive. I still dislike how they throw flat out insults to each other, there just is no need for that. And I thought I was a rager when I played competitive TF2.
If this was ESEA they would be kicked out immediately.
Starcraft Players are way better at celebrating when they win:

3 minutes of rage compared to what, an hour, two hours of gameplay? It's competition. You see this shit everywhere, especially when there is a 1 million dollar prize riding on the line. It's ugly and bad for image but it's certainly not exclusive to CoD or even video game competitions.
Kinda ironic they're console players.
This is why I don't take "esports" or competitive gaming seriously.
0:50 Holy fucking Christ!
Fucking idiots. I've never* seen someone act like that in competitive BF3.
Can't tell if this guy is serious. Fucking hell if he is. :v:
OI ILL DEK YA M8 SWER ON ME MUM
I rarely swear when gaming but Gears of War 3 did used to make me rage to the core, luckily I've sold my xbox now but this is just a entirely different level, I would feel like a right twat after a game if I was like that ^
Chavs. So many Chavs.

Loved the commentators on that.
I stopped playing CoD around MW2 because it made me that angry there's just something about it that's infuriating that I don't feel from any other game also ESPORTS
An ESL spokesperson has gotten in touch about the video and, in the interests of fairness and balance, this is the organisation's take on it: "eSports events such as the recent Electronic Sports League European Finals are highly competitive and evoke a huge amount of passion and excitement among the participants. This is no different to sports such as football and rugby, where competitive spirit and banter are part of the mind games that take place between teams. The events are always conducted in a professional manner, and this film does not reflect the generally sportsmanslike behaviour we saw over the weekend."
I've watched a bit of esports, and I have never seen behaviour as unappropriate as this. I wouldn't be able to take any kind of competition seriously as a spectator if the players were screaming and throwing temper tantrums like this every time they had a minor setback.
This is why I don't take "esports" or competitive gaming seriously.
It's also part of why I don't want to get into esports too. At that point, playing the game is no longer fun and every "MLG" player is an egotistical asshole.
I've watched a bit of competitive CS and the guys seemed pretty chill, they even joked to each other in the chat while playing Of course that was NIP, which is like the best team ever in every way

At that point, playing the game is no longer fun and every "MLG" player is an egotistical asshole.
Not everyone that plays in MLG is an asshole, at least in the sc2(and somewhat LoL) side. MLG has a bad rep because of the CoD community when truthfully CoD isint even near to being as big as Starcraft or League at a MLG event. CoD Crowd: SC2 crowd
I've always wanted to go up to MLG for CS ever since I've started. But I can't, I play CS:CZ/1.6 comp on pubs, rarely. I just play it recreational-y on CS:CZ on bot servers with a few guys where we are all friends. I've revisited CS:S, and I just plain suck.
MLG Say no more. [editline]21st March 2013[/editline]
I've always wanted to go up to MLG for CS ever since I've started. But I can't, I play CS:CZ/1.6 comp on pubs, rarely. Never consider MLG actual competitive play, because even doing so feeds the machine that is disgusting behavior like the kind seen in the video dominating the forefront of what is expected of gamers. MLG might be okay for RTS like League and Starcraft but the people who go there for the Call of Duty on 360 stuff are... well, apes.
