• Making a wireless external hard drive (Mac)?

Hey, guys. I am buying a Macbook Pro soon, and I don't have the type of cash to add on to the $2000 that the laptop costs in order to get a larger SSD. My Desktop build is a Hackintosh, so it runs OS X. It has a 2TB HDD in it, with a bunch of free space. Is there any way that I can rig up a partition of that as a Wi-Fi external hard drive for misc. files from my Macbook? Also, I would like it to be password protected so others on the network can't get into it. Worst case scenario i'll pick up a subscription to Google Drive, and use that. I'd rather save that money if I can, though.
