Yup, I'm off to boot for the USMC in 4 hours. 13 weeks of mind numbing and body crushing training, all to claim the title of Marine. After all that I get to train to become a door gunner in a helicopter (not of my choosing). So I think all and all it'll be a boat load of *fun* and I'll be back on the forums come Christmas! See you all then!

I had a friend who was a marine. He said it's only hard the first few weeks. As long as you do what you're told, you should be fine.

But I don't know for myself, that's just what I was told.
