The part where he killed the guys with the C4 jeep was amazing.
Killing the dragon with the final slash made him a manly man.
Is this DLC any good? been thinking about getting it. Looks really good.

It's standalone.
And it's as good as it looks
I jumped out of my fucking chair when he got off that jetski! I thought the crocodile was dead! Jeeeeesus!
It looks just like an ugly retro reskin with a few other models and stupid voice acting.

If you ever think it was designed to be serious in any way whatsoever, then you have no sense of fun.

Models and textures don't grow on trees

Can you elaborate on why?
Can you elaborate on why?
Well it really added filters, models, textures, and new effects and that's about it.
Sure a new story and new characters, but a few changed weapons and a few new effects and enemies on the same map as the base Far Cry 3 doesn't really constitute a 15 dollar pricetag
I also think I just described call of duty

He doesn't like Blood Dragon?
Feels weird to admit that I know this, but Marphy tends to rate and post the opposite of what he thinks. I believe the kids these days call it "ironing" :v:

It's a new island with new areas you nincompoop, the game absolutely warrants a $15 pricetag. The engine and basic gameplay stays the same (with a few tweaks), while the level design, story, aesthetic and atmosphere are mostly new with some reused assets. That's practically the definition of an expansion pack.

Yes it does constitute a 15 dollar pricetag, what fucking planet are you living when that much content should be free?

Try play it first dingleberry
Its a brand new story on a brand new map with brand new weapons which you use to shoot brand new enemies and talk to brand new characters
With entirely different atmosphere and art style to Far Cry 3
yeah its just a couple of fucking filters and reskins

Every game can be boiled down to that.
Wow nfs most wanted should have been free all it really added was new filters models textures effects and map.
As in like the entire goddamn game you loon.
Yes it most definitely deserves a 15 dollar price (Even if the map was the same from Far Cry 3 (which it isn't)) tag and i'm wondering what maniacal mental hoops you have to jump through to think this should be free.

New 4hr long story + extras.
-Story includes great 80's dialogue and continues to constantly deliver in content.
An altered version of an existing FC3 island (iirc) that is worth re-exploring (buildings are completely different, as well as the improvement on the outpost concept).
Weapons that only get more ridiculously overpowered in a good way ([sp]explosive 4-barreled semi-auto shotty yesssss[/sp]).
Extensive flavor text that's actually enjoyable to read.
You complain that it's $15? You only get to complain if it's $60, maybe $40, but for a game like this to come around it's a godsend as there's nothing quite like this game. Hell, less effort is put into updating major sports games that are resold yearly at $60 a pop. It's a game that delivers high quality entertainment at a low price, and I haven't seen many games lately that have done that.
We need more games like this.
