Arsen Avakov said the situation would "be resolved in 48 hours" either way. Earlier, some of those who had been inside security service offices in Luhansk since Sunday left the building. The EU, Russia, US and Ukraine are to meet next week in the first four-way meeting since the crisis erupted. The talks are aimed at breaking the impasse since Russia annexed the southern Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea in February. Russian troops are now massed along the borders of the two countries. ... Mr Avakov said an "anti-terrorist operation" was under way in the three regions and would be concluded within the next two days. "There are two options," he told journalists, " political settlement through talks or the use of force. "For those who want dialogue, we propose talks and a political solution. For the minority who want conflict they will get a forceful answer from the Ukrainian authorities." The leader of the armed activists inside the state security service building in Luhansk has appealed to Russia's President Vladimir Putin for help. Calling Luhansk the "last remaining hope for all Ukraine", the man identified only as Vitaly said: "Mr Putin, have mercy on your fighters. If you lose us then you will lose the last hope to create a good neighbour".
Hey let's pay a bunch of Russians to have a pro-Ukraine protest in Russia proper and see what happens! It'll be like a zany comedy
If these pro Russia people want to be Russia so bad why don't they just move to Russia?
If these pro Russia people want to be Russia so bad why don't they just move to fucking Russia?
BECAUSE MOVING COSTS MONEY. Ukraine is poor as fuck right now.
BECAUSE MOVING COSTS MONEY. Ukraine is poor as fuck right now.
They're not "poor as fuck" right now.
i like how everybody calls them "pro-russian" when most of them want referendums for larger regional roles, not joining to russia.
i like how everybody calls them "pro-russian" when most of them want referendums for larger regional roles, not joining to russia.
The Russian flags waving everywhere probably don't help to sell that point
The Russian flags waving everywhere probably don't help to sell that point
Well what do you expect? They don't like new goverment, see Crimea got away and now they see Russia as main ally in their cause.
Wasn't the government trying to stop protesters how the riots started originally? Did they not learn from their own lesson?
If these pro Russia people want to be Russia so bad why don't they just move to Russia?
You can't expect someone to give up their job, house, friends, and community like that. These areas should not be part od Russia, but you also can't just say "gb2russia". Forcing an ethnic group to move out of "your land" is ethnic cleansing, and that's kinda what stuff like that is advocating.

why would you want to be part of russia lol
BECAUSE MOVING COSTS MONEY. Ukraine is poor as fuck right now.
I honestly wonder what makes you think like this.
I honestly wonder what makes you think like this.
Russians

He was saying that if these people don't want to be apart of the Ukraine, then theres no reason for them to be in the Ukraine. The Ukraine government is broke but you would be hard pressed to find a government that isn't broke right now anyways.
If these pro Russia people want to be Russia so bad why don't they just move to Russia?
Maybe because their friends, family, family history, memories, jobs and lives were built and made in that area. You can't just relocate out of the blue when you decide the political atmosphere of the country you're living in (and most of the time, grew up in) changes to your dislike.

Ukraine let Crimea go, but I don't think they'll be so passive if Russia tries to snatch up half their country which also contains most of their industry.
