I think I need to brush up on my Ceranomics and become a great actor.
Michael Cera is funny though
He would be funny if he didn't play the SAME exact role in every movie.
but he wasn't a teenager in scott pilgrim
but he wasn't a teenager in scott pilgrim
he wasn't, but he was still the exact same fucking character. If it didn't say he was a twenty-something you wouldn't be able to tell.
Michael Cera is funny though
hahaha good one!
All this video is doing is going "lol micheal cera is a bad actor lets make fun of him and get popularity" "Rrrr rrr i hate michel sera he plais the same character in every movie it is outrageous rrr rrr rrr" Give it a rest, it's not exactly his fault that he's good at representing the type of character that every one of you is like in real life, if a director has that particular character in mind, and wants to get a well-known actor, he's pretty much got Micheal Cera or Jesse Eisenberg to go to. All you're doing is having a go at someone for doing their job. Okay, I get that seeing someone get paid ludicrous amounts of money for pretending to be the sort of person that you are in real life could get annoying, but seriously, give it a rest. We've heard it all before. Bring on the dumb ratings from people who think there's more to it than that. I look forward to hearing your excuses for why you hate him.
I don't like him because I don't think he's a good actor.
He's not pretending, that's how he acts all the time.
Because you're obviously best buddies, and hang around with him all the time, and have seen every video and interview with him and knows that that's how he's like in real life.
i hate any actor that is the exact same in every movie besides jack black and keanu reeves
I saw paper hearts, he managed to up the awkward by ten. I don't really hate Michael Cera, Superbad and Youth in Revolt are two movies I enjoyed a lot, it's just annoying seeing the same face in different films. I feel the same way about most movies- I want to see fresh faces, when I see Nicholas Cage in one of his older films, I always for a second forget what film I'm watching, he doesn't even play similar roles- his face is just so easy to recognize it ruins a film for me. Maybe I just watch too many films, but it gets tiring, I remember the first time I saw Fargo, all the fresh faces I've never seen before were so relieving.

The stereotype may be that, but it's not. And following that, while what most of the rest of what you say is true, come on, he needs to expand his roles or he'll be dead before you know it in the film industry- one role isn't going to suit him forever. Also, I think Scott Pilgrim would have totally been better if he didn't half-butcher Scott's character by being, well, Michael Cera. Even when he needs to play a role that isn't his typical repetitive role, he can't. And it made something I was a huge fan of into a not-nearly-as-good movie. Also, by the amount of times you point out how we are, I think you're more reflecting how you are.
Evlbzltyr, you care waaaaaay too much.
I lost it at the Sam Jackson part.
Evlbzltyr, you care waaaaaay too much.
Michael Cera posts on facepunch apparently.
He doesn't have that much control over being type casted, and even if he has the choice to play in the movie I don't see the point in turning down the offer considering how much money he'd probably be paid.

Sure he is type-casted, but there is a good reason for that.
Will Ferrell and Johnny Depp play the same character in every one of their movies but people still love them, I for one cannot stand them.
I once fucked Michael Cera, was wonderful.
Will Ferrell and Johnny Depp play the same character in every one of their movies but people still love them, I for one cannot stand them.
Johnny depp plays the same character in every film? I only liked him in Arrested Developement, and even then it was before I knew he was going to be the same person in every role.
He just gets typecast into samey roles, one after the other. Not much he can do about that.
Johnny depp plays the same character in every film? The fuck is wrong with you
He always plays the crazy/drunk guy who waves his arms around all the time.
I'm okay with people who say they dislike Cera because they dislike his acting. That's legitimate. But 90% of the people I talk to who say they "hate Cera" always cite the fact that he's typecast. Wow, someone who can play a certain role well is always cast as that role, WHAT A SHOCKER. Would you rather he be cast in a role he's bad at? I, for one, think he does a great job at what he does and he should continue to be used for that kind of role. No reason not to. I'm fine with seeing the same face in the same role so long as they do a good job.
many actors play the same role over and over because they're better at that one specific role or their personality matches the role (personality is usually the case) ie. Jim Carrey almost always plays someone with a crazy personality idk about this micheal cera though cause I don't think I've seen a movie with him in (haven't seen a whole lot of movies the last few years)
Go-Gurt INSTANT WIN
He always plays the crazy/drunk guy who waves his arms around all the time.
Tell me one except for Pirates of the caribbean.
I don't hate Michael Cera, but I want him to do something that is out of his acting range, maybe a drama or horror movie.
