• Looking For A Good Upgrade To Cut Down On Heat

I have a core i7 920 system with 2 9800GTX+'s an it just produces massive amounts of heat. I'm using a cooler master storm scout case with a V8 cpu cooler. I was wondering whats the best upgrade I could do to cope with it, its made my room pretty much unbearable to live in. From what I can tell it seems like its my PSU that's producing most of the heat. Its a Cooler Master real power 850. Is there anything on the market that wont create so much heat?
I do believe it's the GFXs. Try using a program like HWMonitor to check the temps of the components (doesn't work for the PSU though, if I remember correctly.
Short of buying parts that produce less heat, no. The reason your room is so warm is due to the fans in your case doing a good job to exhaust the heat generated by the various components. So an "upgrade" would be to either move your case into a more open room in your house, turn off the heat in your room, or to run a air conditioner in the winter.
