Fix Up, Look Sharp V8! (Seriously, don't even think about posting camo) Massive credit goes to Tehfrog, for his excellent V5 OP. And credit to this OP goes to Glitch360 from V7 for whatever modifications were made. Hello, and welcome to Fix Up! Look Sharp! Facepunch’s very own fashion thread. Before you start posting, please read the suggestions and guidelines listed below: Some posting guidelines: 1. Try and be nice. I know it is tempting to lash out at people who you don’t agree with (Upgrade), but the last thing we need is someone to get banned. Remember that we are a community, not a boxing ring. 2. Respect the styles of others. People have different styles, some may even vary wildly from your own. At least try to be civil when speaking to them about their choices. 3. Don't just tell someone that what they picked is shit. Be constructive. If you are responding to someone looking for advice, try to offer constructive criticism, not just insults. 4. Have fun! Don’t get too worked up about someone’s choice of legwear, it isn’t worth the energy to start a fight. 5. Please, do not post obviously ridiculous clothes! We're actually here to help you. Some basic guidelines for looking your best: 1. Find clothing that fits you right. This is the most important rule in fashion. If your jeans are too loose, or too tight, you will look silly (and nobody wants that!) Here's a helpful infographic: [t]http://i.imgur.com/2ngeJ.png[/t] 2. Try to avoid wearing clothing that could be thought of as obnoxious, or excessively loud. (A great example of this is this shirt; http://rockmerchuniverse.com/images/thedevilwearspradaanchortee.jpg ) 3. Don’t be afraid to shop around! You can find many great pieces where you least expect them. 4. Find a style that fits your tastes. Don’t try and squeeze into a style that you feel uncomfortable in! 5. Try things on, and experiment, it is always good to expand your horizons. And, if you aren’t sure of a certain piece you are considering, we can help! 6. In most cases, you should avoid things like trench coats and fedoras. These two pieces were popular many decades ago, but have since fallen out of fashion, and have become very difficult to pull off. Some helpful tips on hygiene: 1. Keep clean shaven! Facial hair can be hard to pull off, and honestly, most guys look better without it. DE shaving is one of the best experiences as well! Interested? Take a look at this thread by our very own Lamar! Another helpful website on how to shave. 2. Keep your hair shorter! Same thing as shaving, shorter hair is easier to pull off, easier to clean, and in many cases just looks better. 3. Keep yourself clean! Shower often! With shampoo! Also, solid stick deodorant is of the utmost importance for making sure you smell fresh throughout the day. 4. Acne sucks, and it is something that most of us have to deal with at some point in our life. You can help minimize your acne by keeping clean, and following the tips in the website below! Does anyone know where I can get my feet in some sweet blue oxfords? Like this. (Sorry if those aren't oxfords. They all look the same to me.)

with my money do i A: buy one really expensive outfit from really high quality brands (Ben sherman, fred perry, ted baker etc) which can then be used together to like mix and match outfits with future clothes OR B: buy a few average outfits which are meh quality from shops in the area.
I prefer option b, mainly because it means I have more variety, even if altogether the quality is lower.
option B as long as they're decent looking outfits, higher price doesn't always mean better

ooooooooh I cannot wait till I get my lazer card so I can start shopping online, this thread will be the source of my shopping, for that I am eternally greatful
I'm no fashion guru, but I thought you guys might think this was interesting. So today, my dad walked up to me, asked me if I wanted a pair of jeans, and I said why not. He gave me the pair, it fit, and he made a comment about how awesome that was because he got them custom fit in Thailand about 30 years ago. There was a design along the thigh of a dragon. He said while he was in Thailand, he went a store that made those funky umbrellas with those funky designs on them, and the woman that painted the umbrellas there walked up to my dad and asked him if he wanted a dragon painted on his pants. Pa said hell yeah, and get them painted for free. So I present you 30 year old, custom fit, custom designed, jeans. Saw two nerds today walking through campus, one in a trilby and one in a wide brim fedora. I wanted to send them to the gas chambers, but then I realized they probably own gas masks.
ITT: people get really intense about fashion and think up extensive ways of killing off anyone who doesn't have a sense of fashion.
