• How do you keep your keyboard clean?

I don't know about any of you guys but I eat food near my computer a lot and crumbs or drops of whatever will land on the keyboard / go between the keys. Now I could take all the keys off and clean them individually and vacuum the crumbs out but that is a lot of work and it does not do a great job in the end. I was thinking the solution to this would be to buy a keyboard with flat keys and no space between the keys so you can just wipe it with a damp cloth to clean. However there are not many keyboards like that (as far as I know) so what do you guys do to keep it clean?
Compressed air.
Sometimes I shit on it to hold other peoples greasy hands away from it. That way I don't need to clean it.
Sometimes I shit on it to hold other peoples greasy hands away from it. That way I don't need to clean it.
But then your computer would smell like shit, and then so would you.
i don't keep mine clean. it's a dust mine in there i tell ya.
I don't keep it clean, occasional wipe with my sleeve, then flip it upside down to shake out any crumbs.
compressed air weekly, once a year I'll pop out all the keys and throw the thing in the bathtub.
I do compressed air when it needs it. But I don't eat at the computer, so it doesn't get much dirt.
flip it upside down and smack the back
My keyboard is perfectly...waitasecond *Zedo Mann looks under the keys. :byodood:

I wipe the keys but thats it
I don't do anything over my keyboard that would make it dirty (eating, etc.). Although it does gather dust over time. I usually just shake it a bit (while upsidedown) and then just blow a few times to make sure it is dust free. As for the tops of my keys I just wipe them down occasionally.
Use compressed air to clean out the crumbs, and a surfactant to remove greases and sweat from people's fingers. [editline]09:27PM[/editline] I suggest doing this weekly.
compressed air for dust, sometimes a take a micro fiber cloth to it. i have a lycosa mirror, it looks great but i have to clean it a bit more than usual.
Compressed air, but I never clean my keyboard. It always works fine.
Not eating over it. I've never had to do a thorough clean of my keyboard(s).
A good shake. I've got out the habit of eating everything over my stuff now. Wash your hands often, keeps the keys cleaner.
Turn upside down and smack the back for a bit and wipe it down with some bleach spray shit

Break it once and a while so I can get a tech out and change it :) (using a laptop)
Put it in a sink full of water and scrub it w/ a dish brush
I use an air compressor to get most of the shit out of it every few months, and every half a year or so I take the keys out and clean them. While the keys are in some hot water I take a damp cloth and clean out the insides of the keyboard. That or I just forget about it for years.
I wash it
I hoover it sometimes :v:
