The buildings and stuff kind of remind me of the ones from Red Faction Guerilla
The first Planetside was one of the best games I've ever played, I can't wait for this one.

Planetside was the first "mmo" that i played... it was also the only one that i actually still continued to play and it was the only one that i truly "loved".
I don't like how the new gauss rifle looks, it shoots slowly enough, but it looks too much like a modern rifle with a tiny bit of futuristic added. Also I don't think I'm too much of a fan of ironsights in Planetside, but I guess we'll have to see how that goes.
Map looked a lot like Blood Gulch, which is cool.

It would be a very logical step to make this free2play by the way, using microtransaction. So i hope they do the same plan as Guild Wars/Lord of the Rings Online
Might be worth buying, the gameplay reminds me of Battlefront 2.

LotRO is the perfect example for this
Wouldn't mind paying like 50 bucks for it, but I'm not a fan of monthly payments.
I loved Planetside, used to play it way too much. Didn't know they were making second one, nice!

I get that. I really do. But Planetside was definitely worth the monthly pay. I'm excited to see how grand this one is. Especially if all the original players come back as well as new players.
Buy to Play would be a good model for this. But servers cost plenty of cash to run and maintain, so I think subscription will be what we end up with.
pay2play stops most of the under-16YOs getting on which is handy too
