My computer has been overheating a lot recently, and the fan is making funny noises. When I tipped it on its side, a load of dust fell out. So I want to ask Facepunch, whats the best way to clean out the dust in my laptop fan without damaging it?
Take an air compressor with a narrow nozzle. Aim it into the computer's air vent and let it do its work.
We do this to all of our computers on a regular basis and it works great.
I think the fans are pretty sturdy, maybe some compressed air?
