I have keratosis pilaris alba. My skin on the tops of my legs, thighs, and arms are as rough as sandpaper.

Well here's the weird thing for me... My mom didn't have it, my dad didn't have it, my brother didn't, nor my grandparents from either side or their mothers or fathers.... We have NO idea where it came from for me. I was just the unlucky bastard.
I have it on my biceps but if you care for it well enough you can keep it to a minimum. Wash thoroughly (maybe even roughly) and moisturize. I haven't gone to the doctor about it because it's not that big of a deal and I hate going to the doctor.
