I want to know what you guys will be doing besides having fireworks this year. Also, why is it that you guys seems to be the only country that have no real official 'National day celebration'? What I meant was a show off of your great arts, dances, and military tech. Pretty much every country does it.

The coutny I live in won't let us shoot fireworks off because it's too dry

I'm hearing most towns in my area are cancelling fireworks due to the heatwave/drought, so I'm not sure I'll be able to shoot again tonight. Here's hoping though

Shian, the reason we don't really have one day for national pride, great arts, dances, military might is because most big towns or cities have those on major holidays. So in fact, we have multiple, including 4th of July.

I'm fucking working today. 4-8:30. Fuck Lowe's. Normally we close at 10, but today we close at 8. Still fucking stupid though. There's no guarantee you leave at the time you're scheduled til when you close. Never been kept longer than a hour more though.

Sent that to my friend with one of those big fancy cameras.
Every time I see stuff like this I feel like I'm missing out because I've always wanted to do macro photos, but all I have is a point and shoot Kodak Slice and the prices for SLR cameras are high.
