In the television show Doctor Who, one of the titular Doctor's most trusted tools is his psychic paper: A blank slip of paper in a plastic sleeve in a simple wallet. According to the show, it will appear to the viewer as whatever credentials the Doctor requires (and sometimes, can be used by others to telepathically send written messages to the Doctor). Though, to others (usually with some form of psychic ability), it can appear as simply a blank piece of paper. It's been used throughout the show's run to get the Doctor in and out of numerous situations.
