• Need Adobe Illustrator Help (Livetrace)

(Preface: It was a tossup between this forum and H&S but since the people here are more likely to know the solution I'm asking here) I'm trying to digitize and cleanup some of my handdrawn maps. I'm scanning them and using Adobe Illustrator to livetrace them into vectors so I can manipulate them. There's a small problem; I want clean, uniform thickness lines, but livetrace made every line look like calligraphy. I want to know if there's an easy solution or if I should just redo them digitally. Here is a picture: Gracias.
After you do live trace you can always select every line at once by dragging the cursor and selecting all of them, then go to the (opens illustrator) appearance button (the one that looks like a black circle, and set the thickness of the lines. That only magnifies it; it doesn't set it all to the same stroke width. Edit: I fixed it
Magnifies it? Wtf? I said to change the width.
