Troll thread. But I'll answer anyways. In the eyes of a religious person, yes. In the eyes of an atheist, no.
No, not really.
Hell doesn't exist, so no.
PLEASE, LADiES AND GENTLEMEN, DO NOT FEED THE TROLL. THANK YOU.

only believers go to heaven. but not mentioning murderers who are Christian, obviously they go to hell "And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day." -John 6:40 and "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." -Romans 10:13
No, we go to secular heaven, an afterlife reserved strictly for those who don't believe in it. There we live in paradise by the grace of the anthropomorphic deity to whom we refuse to pay tribute or even acknowledge. God is powered by irony, you see.
Hes not trolling, he mentioned this on another thread about atheism. He possibly wanted more of an open opinion, so he started another topic. My answer, no, you won't go to hell. Even though I am an atheist myself, the only way people would go to hell is by doing bad things, such as committing crime with no regret, ect. You won't go to hell just because you think there is no god because science proved it, even if there was a god.
I don't believe in hell therefore i wont go there
Troll thread. But I'll answer anyways. In the eyes of a religious person, yes. [editline]04:02PM[/editline]
I don't believe in hell therefore i wont go there
You will still be dead in darkness.
i may back to atheism but i dont want to burn
If you're an atheist, then there clearly is no hell, you dink.
No such thing as hell, and you can't go to a place that don't exist, ESPICIALLY when you're dead. There problem solved. Ps. When you die, everything is non-existant, you're dead, as in before you were born-ish. If religious people actually do go the the heavens, good luck living forever.
But in the eyes of an atheist they don't exist at all and are dead for good. [editline]04:02PM[/editline] You will still be dead in darkness.
ive always wondered what tht would be like in total darkness. but what if heaven is juust a big white empty room like that spongebob episode?
what about agnostic?
Unless the completely believe in God and all that good stuff then nope. also to my previous post, some people will argue that you could sin all you want and all you have to do is believe in jesus to get to heaven, I dont believe that personally, if you kill somebody out of pure anger or greed then obviously you will get punished for it. (in my beliefs) in the next life if not here also.
it's a redundant question
if you kill somebody out of pure anger or greed then obviously you will get punished for it.
Aha, so pretty much all main christian figures are off to hell then?
ive always wondered what tht would be like in total darkness. but what if heaven is juust a big white empty room like that spongebob episode?
I actually wondered that once too. lol
Aha, so pretty much all main christian figures are off to hell then?
Ironic, isn't it.
I do not send Athiests to hell, i treat them with respect as i do not exist
you heard him
Aha, so pretty much all main christian figures are off to hell then?
exactly my point. there is a lot of stuff to argue and thats where people pull all these fights from calling the bible inaccurate and bashing others beliefs. I'm not here to be an apologetic, I'm just saying what I believe. also there was something I remember that something about all religious figures that believed in God or who were innocent and ignorant lived in hell but in a place called abrahams bussom before the coming of Christ to 'open heaven' and all of them stayed there and were saved later on. don't quote me on that because I am in no way certified to be talking about this.
Errmmm....hell doesn't exist. Sorry to spoil the fairytale story for you dude.
Of course I'm not going into some crazy person's imagination. What a silly question.
I DO NOT EXIST FFS
If anybody actually wants some straightforward answers from an actual smart person about religion and all that, I could PM you the link to an apologetics forum if you have questions to ask. I've learned a lot from it.
Religous view of hell: A place of never ending tormet and excruciating pain. Athiests view of hell: Being told, on a daily basis, you are going to the religous hell because of your views. So all us athiests are already in hell.
Coming from a religious person, I really don't think so. I'm a very firm believer in Purgatory and I believe that the vast majority will go there upon their death because they might not be good enough to get into heaven, but at the same time they haven't done anything atrocious enough to go to hell. I believe that the purpose of religion is to guide people so they can live as best they can, but you don't necessarily need religion to do that. Very good people can be entirely unspiritual and very bad people can have the worst holier-than-thou attitude.
I think it depends on the religion, as I don't think all religions have heaven and hell. But if you're thinking about christianity, then I think most of them would say yes.
Your mind makes it real, Neo.
