In the past I've disliked Vsauce, but his recent stuff has been pretty great.
the fact that the background wasn't green threw me off
That photo he showed of the assassination really sent a chill down my spine. [editline]20th May 2013[/editline] And the mock EAS broadcast. God damn that really chilled me.
sirens are the scariest shit ever
Wasn't as interesting as other videos of him.

Honest opinion here and I have a feeling I'm going to be alone on this one but I can't help but get annoyed by this guy. Interesting subject material but I don't know if it's his delivery, just something about him, or both, but his videos just seem tedious to watch.
That was...really scary. Interesting, but scary. This is the kind of stuff that makes it hard for me to sleep at night. Edit: Why are all of my certainly not funny posts being rated funny today?
the broadcast with the automated voices and stuff is scary as shit like seriously you'd think they'd make it more comforting but the voices and warning tone is absolutely horrifying
I've been saying this shit for years but at least he made a video about it that will get to millions of people. Good on him.
The stranded Armstrong speech was really eerie, too.
That was a pretty dark episode.
What if those facilities in the islands north of norway are nuked?
What if those facilities in the islands north of norway are nuked?
I don't think anybody in their right mind would nuke it. And if it was, it's probably nuke proof.
You'd think the government would try to avoid panic and shocking people but nope, loud sirens and text-to-speech alerts.
I'm glad Neil and Buzz didn't get stranded on the moon, but what if they did what would have been the consequences, would they have been seen as martyrs and push us into mastering space travel or scared us out of it leaving us stranded on earth.
the broadcast with the automated voices and stuff is scary as shit like seriously you'd think they'd make it more comforting but the voices and warning tone is absolutely horrifying
probably because it will make you alert
the broadcast with the automated voices and stuff is scary as shit like seriously you'd think they'd make it more comforting but the voices and warning tone is absolutely horrifying
I think want you to be scared so you be more focused
And the mock EAS broadcast. God damn that really chilled me.
Don't view if you don't want to get chilled further:
How is anything in this video news to anyone?
What if those facilities in the islands north of norway are nuked?
That'd be at the hand of a truly evil human, who has no desire other than to destroy humanity.
I love the background music he uses. It's so good.
In the past I've disliked Vsauce, but his recent stuff has been pretty great.
This is the first time ever on the internet that I've heard someone say that somethings newer content is better than its older content, rather than the contrary.
Don't view if you don't want to get chilled further:
http://radiotapes.com/WCCO/WCCO-AM_EBS_2-20-1971.mp3 This is an actual EBS broadcast, which was a total accident. Saturday morning the 20th in 1971, NORAD accidently sent the wrong message, instead of a test, which triggered the network. This prompted stations to broadcast what they were instructed to do. It's pretty interesting. After the warning and such, they explain what happened. A ton of stations actually went off the air as instructed.
the broadcast with the automated voices and stuff is scary as shit like seriously you'd think they'd make it more comforting but the voices and warning tone is absolutely horrifying
I imagine that while it would scare the living shit out of me, it would be the most affective method of getting people's attention. While it would be jarring and cause mass panic, it would likely save possibly millions of lives.
I can't tell if the whole Comic Sans and "crapdosis" things were red herrings or what. They just threw me off.
How is anything in this video news to anyone?
I for one had no idea about the "butterfly effect" or "chaos theory". I'd only briefly heard about them. So that's news to me.
