So I noticed everyone has been doing this kind of style.
and to be honest I love it cause its more appealing and nice on the eyes.

How would I do that.
Like it has this certain color to it and its not that sharp.
im not sure how I would be able to do that effect. Sorry if I sound idiotic ;
I don't know about the sharpness but the color is just from manipulating curves.
hmm let me try that out..
The color just looks like a sepia photo filter. You wouldn't get that through adjusting the curves.

For the softness he could have just gotten that when he took the original photo.
Yeah. maybe but I highly doubt it. Ill show you another picture of his :

I absolutely HATE IT when people ask a question and then tell the people who try and help that they are wrong.
Look I made a quick half-assed example from some random picture I found on the internet:
Original:

Curves adjusted for brightness and darknessy stuffs: (possibly counter productive in the softness look department, but whatever.)

And a sepia adjustment layer added:

I don't really want to figure out the softness right now, although I am positive it is possible to edit in with photoshop. I also think you could just do it through how your camera is set up.
So, not entirely sure on the softness effect, but the color you are talking about is godamn sepia, so how about instead of telling the person that is trying to help you that they are wrong, you give them a fuckin thank you instead? They did try and help you after all.

Yeah. Okay that's right. thank you!
Now I need to find out how he gets that softness edge kinda look.
He has the same camera as me and its not in the settings so..

Maybe you could just ask him?
Maybe you could just ask him?
He won't respond.
He has been asked like 50 million times.
Also he's famous on flickr. He has about 150 pictures on Explore T_T
Just a tad out of focus perhaps?
Just a tad out of focus perhaps?
Well that was a pretty ingenious post !
no lie.
that might be it
I'm not sure why you would want your images to be unsharp though.
I'm not sure why you would want your images to be unsharp though.
Well it gives a real nice effect to it.
As you can tell by the photos I used as an example
I still think that the images would look better if they were sharp.
Yea. That is true I guess.
It all depends on the photo. Portraits look better when it isn't so sharp
Sharpness is just what makes a portrait imo. Sharp focus on the eyes in a portrait is nearly everything.
