The journalists were left cowering after a Brazilian man — arrested for allegedly killing his mother — fixed them with a bug-eyed glare during an interview.
During the media conference the man also screams "die devil! " into the camera and calls one of the journalists a "clown".
Footage of the interview has gone viral online, receiving more than two million hits since it was posted on YouTube on November 19.
Emilio Eduardo da Rocha Deveza, a drug addict with mental health problems, was arrested by Brazilian police after allegedly killing his mother Jardim Carmem because she used his credit card without permission.
The video shows a handcuffed Deveza, 33, being question by reporters in Portuguese after his arrest in Cerro Azul, Paraná.
"Why did you kill your mother?" a reporter from the TV network Bandeirantes asks, thrusting a microphone in Deveza's face.
"That's none of your business you clown," Deveza responds.
At first Deveza says he does not want to speak in front of the cameras but then he targets a reporter saying: "I like the camera, the microphone … but to you, I don't want to talk to you!"
"Die devil!" he yells.
Deveza repeats the statement and stares at the reporter menacingly.
He refuses to answer questions about his motives, yelling: "that's none of your business. Those are my problems."
The video ends with Deveza screaming "you want to film me? Film that!" and sticking both middle fingers up to the camera.
