Ashley Guindon became a public servant and was shot on her first patrol/duty. I don't see much outrage about this on the news or anything else, but dead cops don't sell. Guindon was also in the marine corp reserves..
Extremely sad and disheartening.
Worst part is the suspect is active duty army, kill his wife and ambushed the officers. Murdering Guindon and injuring 2 other officers..

To be real though; it is really sad to hear that a veteran and graduate was killed.
I'd like to just expand on this. She wasn't a new officer. She had previously been in the force a few years prior as an on duty officer before taking time off due to maternity leave. This was her first shift back from that.
