Making up to be an amazing game.
It's so fucking depressing knowing I will never be able to afford a PC that will be able to run this
I hope this is as good as the originals.
Throwing away the rifle and taking out the 2 berettas looks awesome.
Rarely you see this fluid animations.
Looks awesome, I can't wait for it.
dem animations :E
Fuck all that talk about how "this isn't Max Payne" or "where is the noire". It looks like Rockstar is doing a damn good job.

but it isn't
just look at it, it's completely different in every possible way
I mean it'll probably be a great game like every other rockstar game, but it's so unmax payne
where's the snow, the drugs, the satanism, the black comedy, the overly flowery monologues, the noir
where's that sexy low electronica music
Fucking awesome... I'm extremely worried about the PC version though... I don't want the multiplayer dieing out fast.
Combat sounds promising.
Ugh. The only thing that disturbs me in this is that they use a console to record these. The movement of the aim is so sluggish.

As disappointed as I am with the lack of NYC noire (and I sincerely am), I am stoked for this. It looks just as good as the originals. Yes it's a shame they won't be revisiting the noire style, but I'm fine with that. The gameplay has always been the critical thing to me in the series, and it looks like it's back and better than ever.
Animations look incredible. Graphics look kinda shitty though, not because they are of low quality
but because of the contrast. Really dont like that gritty look.

The Noire is right there. Noire doesn't have to be New York city at winter. Noire is more about characters and storytelling than setting. The character of Max also seems very like the one in the first two games, except that he shaved his head and grew a beard. The gameplay seems similar also. In fact, it's Max payne, just not in NYC. I guess you're right to your opinion, but don't say that everything is different when it's not.

"This game isn't the exact same thing as the last one so it's gonna be bad"
There was so many death cameras it almost feels like it's gonna be a nuisance in the game :v:
But uhh.. I hope it's gonna be as long as MP2 and 1 were.

You'll probably be able to disable those.

Well, some of the old stuff in MP2 was brilliant.
For example, I'm eager to see whether Rockstar has bothered to come up with like 2-3 different mini-TV shows playing at some points in the game where there's a television, unless it catches gun fire :v:

I'm pretty sure those cameras were just them cutting to a different view to show Max's animations from a different angle. The death cameras will probably be like what they were in MP1 and MP2, they'll only show the dude dying and will only show up on the last guy in the area.

The deathcam is most likely activated when you kill the last enemy of the current area.

Curses! Leaving a tab open, priceless.
The only thing that was bugging me was when he had a sawnoff and a pistol i was hoping he could have a mechanic to independantly aim them seperately rather than pointing both at the same target, so say if a close enemy was on the left you could aim with the sawnoff to the right and immediately after aim with the pistol at a more distant guy on the left but with the actual weapons being apart and not both following the crosshair.
It looks really fun.
Looks very good i just hope its going to be have a good story and will use some elements from the previous games.

Sounds like 2 mice (impossible) or lame autoaim.

How could they do even do that with any practicality?

If you got a computer you bought after the release of the consoles we have today, you can play it :D
what happened to his voice, did he drink a lot of milk or what
Sounds to me like he still has the same voice actor? Although he said just one line in the whole trailer.
How could they do even do that with any practicality?
a button to instantly switch between mainhand and offhand weps or something i guess while both weapons still don't follow the crosshair only the selected weapon does, makes the shooting look more authentic.
they could add it as an advanced aiming option or something, like most games do with auto aim.
after a rethink a better way of explaining it would be in the video when max holds one of the guns up when it's empty the other is fired as a single, something to this degree but both guns are loaded and the button press switches between them enabling the guns to be singularly aimed but still while dual wielding.
also as another rethink like in the previous game you gain a bonus when your slow time was at max, maybe this could be a bonus for that and have it so switching between weapons activates slow-mo so it feels less clunky and confusing when changing between different aiming points/views.
I hope he can get up from a dive into a roll and keep going.
I.E: I dont wanna do a dive and sit on the ground like a too moocher
That looks so cool. I don't care if it's not like last ones, it looks like it's made it so much better in a more modern way.
