• Xbox One Controller PC Driver Issue

I recently bought an Xbox One controller for the Xbox One that I don't have. But in all seriousness, although I don't play consoles I heard that the Xbone controller is amazing for the PC, due to the drivers recently being officially released. I am happy to confirm that the thing is great, fixed prettymuch all the issues I had with the 360 pad, I used to use a PS3 controller for games that needed one, but this thing is awesome, so as a side note, HIGHLY recommended for people wondering, besides the fact that they cost a million goddamn dollars. Anyway, on to the problem. Everytime I plug it in, or start up my computer with it actually plugged in already, I get a runtime error. Every single time no matter what. Now as far as I can tell, the error doesn't actually cause any problems, nothing seems to stop working, though the error will reproduce itself when I restart next. But it's really annoying, and the fact it happens every time kinda worries me for possible issues in future. I have been suggested to install the drivers again, repairing the current installation but that doesn't stop the error. So does anyone have an idea, or is this an error I am just going to have to live with? The error is a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error, although the icon is the xbox symbol. All it says is: Runtime Error! Program: C... This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. I've seen and solved runtime errors before but this one has me stumped so far.

And reinstall your xbox 260 controller for windows drivers. If that doesn't fix it, then something else is broken and good luck finding it.
