Alright, basically I was playing on steam, and my PC froze, seconds later it went to BSoD, it recommended that I make sure all newly installed software was installed correctly, I recently got a 9800GT. Now here's my question, by "installed correctly", does that mean that I need to re install the little CD it came with, or open my PC, or does it mean something entirely different? Because one I'm okay with and the other I'm dreading, but I'm not getting around 300 bucks to spend any time soon, so I need this to be fixed. Thanks for your help.
You spent $300 on a 9800? Rip off. Anyway, don't use the disk,you need The latest Nvidia drivers
Software != Video Card
You need to make sure the graphics drivers are installed correctly.
300 dollars for a 9800 GT? Eugh.
Try reinstalling the drivers.

No, my bad, I should have been more specific, I got a 650W PSU and a 9800GT at the same time, plus taxes that added up to about 250-300 bucks, I'll re-edit and take out the again part, because if I do get another one, I want it better then a 9800GT meaning it would be around 300 bucks.
Also, I'm fairly sure I installed my new drivers correctly after I dumped my PC a month or two ago, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to double-check.

Well, I installed them a while ago, didn't have any errors, but I'll double check.

275 is still kinda high.
Annyways just instal the latest drivers from the nvidia site.
And come back if the BSOD's persist.
275 USD for a 9800GT? :geno:
You can get a GTX 470 for that.
