A big point for flat earth theorists is how when you look out to the sea, the earth is well, flat. Similar to the video in OP of the accented guy at the coast.
Now, if you take a ball and put it right up to your eye and look, it'll appear the same way. It'll look just flat.
Also, as stated above you could just throw the ball in the air and disprove their flat earth replacing gravity thing

Heh, a lot of people actually use planes as a reason why the earth is flat, because in their mind if the earth was curved planes would have to constantly correct themselves as to not fly into space (lol)

I don't think you can distinguish between the earth constantly accelerating upwards by 9.81 m/s^2 vs everything on the earth's surface accelerating downwards by 9.81 m/s^2. When you throw a ball upwards on a flat earth you are just giving it a slightly larger velocity than the current velocity of you and the ground, but then as the earth accelerates upwards you catch up with it. It would take the same amount of effort as throwing it upwards on a round earth, where you are overcoming the force of attraction between the ball and the entire planet.
Same with planes, on a flat earth they are constantly accelerating themselves upwards at 9.81 m/s^2 when flying level, and on a round earth they are overcoming a downwards acceleration of 9.81 m/s^2.
Helium balloons should react the same in both cases too I think, on a flat earth they are being pushed upwards by the air around them as air closer to the ground is more compressed as the earth accelerates into it.
