Most American you can get, but funny nonetheless.
So if you think about it, perhaps the Republicans should just try socialist reform - because they say they would not try those policies here nor there or anywhere.
They might find they like it.
Fox in Socks is better.
He is a pretty good story teller.

He's had a lot of practice with his daughters. He actually even says hi to them on film.

politics are confusing
politics are confusing
the senators in the building can invoke cloture (60 senators must approve) to end the filibuster if they wanted to

He is better than listening someone read from a phone book for sure.
Seriously, politicians should send out requests for shit to read out during filibusters. I would request all the gay erotic sonic fanfiction I could get my hands on.

Oh! Even better! The entire twilight saga! :v:
It would be funny, if it weren't so fucking sad.
Try ACA and maybe youll like it
I do not like the Obamacare,
So I will filibust it with my hot air.
Gotta make sure this bill will lose,
Or my name is not Ted Cruz.
Oh he's not even filibustering, he's just whoring for the cameras. If this were a real filibuster, he'd submit a piece of paper, get on a plane, and fly home for a long weekend.

I swear to god if I'm ever a Senator...
i'm surprised ted cruz has the ability to speak coherently considering the number of cocks inside his mouth
This even counts? So you could basically just read from a really long book if you were doing this?
This even counts? So you could basically just read from a really long book if you were doing this?
Yeah, I think its bullshit that you CAN do this. I always thought of filibusters as a last ditch effort to bring to light the things you think that are wrong with the bill/whatever you are currently FBing against. But apparently you can go completely off topic and it can still be considered a filibuster.

Atlas shrugged has a purpose!
This makes me want to be a senator. You just get set up with a catheter and a colostomy bag and set up some kind of body brace under your clothes and you can go for days as long as people bring you food and caffeinated drinks.
That'd buy you enough time to read all of My Immortal to the US Senate and have it broadcast on C-SPAN.
History will not view this idiot favorably.
A childish book for a childish filibuster, wonderful.

Don't insult Dr. Seuss like that.
Our government hard at work.
Ironically, Dr. Suess was actually a liberal Democrat.

the point of a filibuster is so that action cannot be easily taken without a supermajority. it has nothing to do with actual discussion or debate.

If you watch the video, C-SPAN states clearly that this isn't a filibuster because he is not delaying action on a bill.
