I dunno about that.
For me, Kanye isn't exactly likable, but he's so god damn arrogant, confident, and he's certainly got a way with words and a persona/ego that's larger than life that is both abhorrent, and hilariously enjoyable.
It's the infinite feedback loop of love and hate that keeps celebrity culture so appealing to us westerners.
Kanye's just funny is really the heart of it. Laughing with, or at him, is just part of the joke I guess.
