Police were called to the Braehead shopping centre, near Glasgow after a man took a photo of his 4 year old daughter eating ice cream. Mr White was approached by security guards and told taking photos inside the centre was illegal and to delete all photos taken. The police were called after Mr White admitted to posting photos onto Facebook. The police warned Mr White that there were 'clear signs' that photography wasn't permitted, and under the Prevention of Terrorism Act, he was within his rights to confiscate the mobile phone as evidence. A spokesman for Braehead said: "Staff at an ice cream stall in Braehead became suspicious after they saw a male shopper taking photographs at their counter. "The staff thought the man had also been taking photographs of them and they alerted one of the centre's security staff." "We have a 'no photography' policy in the centre to protect the privacy of staff and shoppers and to have a legitimate opportunity to challenge suspicious behaviour if required." All the people are the ice cream stall had to do was say "Can you not take photos of us" or "You aren't allowed to take photos here". Calling the police is massively excessive and ridiculous.
Fuck you terrorists, making taking a picture of your daughter eating ice cream illegal.
Dude what
Here we go proving that, once again, terrorism prevention acts are hindering all the wrong people. As to prohibiting photography... why?
terrorists win
Here we go proving that, once again, terrorism prevention acts are hindering all the wrong people. As to prohibiting photography... why?
terrorists could take photos then turn them into BOMBS!
There's an event on Facebook where everyone is invited to take photos :v: Brilliance.
So if you needed evidence /yourself/ for something to be used in court, you can't even take a picture of it. What if you saw some ice cream stall shootin' heroin and sniffin' up all the crack they could find, then topping it off with a big bowl of icecream, you'd be the one getting in trouble because they can call the cops for taking pictures of them. :3
"When combined with the right chemicals, terrorists could turn ordinary photos into explosive weapons. More on this at 11." :foxnews:
Terrorists are going to use those pictures to plan bomb attacks Ban cameras
