I was speaking with someone who worked on developing Robot Unicorn Attack, and they were apparently originally planning on making an entire soundtrack. The song just fit very well, and when the executives saw it, they actually purchased the entire rights to the song. Whoever it is that owns the game also owns the song "Always"
