It seems like no base building is the way things are going at the moment. DoW2 didn't have base building either.

mmmm i disagree there i like all the C&C games espessially C&C 3 because they took in a new faction that owned GDI and NOD

Did that faction ever show up in the campaign? I never bothered to finish the game.
C&C completely ceases to be C&C when there is no base building.
There was no base building for the table top of warhammer 40k so DOW2 made sense.
What, I thought that mobile bases was so you could move your base and build another place quickly.. Seems like I need to follow this more.

Exactly it's completely changing what C&C has been, turning into World in Conflict.
