PS:Pardon my potato english. And my condolances to the victims' families.

That's devastating. Is that an avalanche prone area?
Also please stop with the breaking news in the title.

There are lots of trees, and there's a small bump with trees and another house before the hotel.

That looks more than able to have an avalanche. Snow upon snow upon snow.

So is almost every other thread in here essentially. Anyway I've stated that. There's not much more to say about that topic.
Whatever,man.
FUCK!
I hope none of my relatives were there.
There were up to 4 m of snow in the area. Usually avalanche are rare on the appennines but 4 earthquakes with a magnitude between 5 and 5.5 plus a fuckton of snow which fell in just three days, and here's the result. Truly a tragic combination of events

Because in a week when someone bumps this thread with an update it will no longer be breaking.

Don't take it personally, just follow the rules of the section. It's not an attack on you.
Really sucks for those people, imagine being on a great vacation and just getting slammed by a wall of snow.
