Post software which is great to customize, improve, troubleshoot and repair your computer.
http://www.displayfusion.com/
Displayfusion - ideal when you have 2 or more monitors to enhance the Windows 8 taskbar, or even add a taskbar on your other monitor(s) when using Windows 7.
http://justgetflux.com/
f.lux - Great when you are spending your nights on the computer and to improve your sleep,
at sunset the color temperature of your monitor(s) will decrease to a value that you like.
Please note: I'm not sure if a thread like this has been created before, and I'm not willing to advertise.

What? No!
Windows 8 already has separate taskbars for every monitor you plug in.

Oh yeah, hold on to fix that.
Utramon is a lot better than displayfusion IMHO
for windows 7
Ninite - for if you want to install a bunch of stuff at once without all the other crap

CCleaner for cleaning registry and unneeded files
Defraggler for faster and more visual defragmentation

Sounds interesting. I'll give it a spin.
Avast! Antivirus Free Edition - Good antivirus that also scans your computer for outdated software and has a remote desktop feature
I don't personally see what f.lux helps with.
Just makes it seem like I'm looking at my screen through a glass of juice.

It aims to improve your sleep rhythm.
As monitors are designed to simulate daylight, it's not that handy in the middle of the night, now I'm looking through that ''glass of juice'' and disabling f.lux makes my eyes hurt.

Honestly, it took me about 30 seconds for my eyes to get used to how it looked. It seems exactly like it does during the day to me except easier on my eyes.

It keeps your eyes from looking at artificially toned light. It turns to a lower color temperature when you should be ramping down for sleep.
Since it's kinda ontopic, should I defrag my computer manualy or does it do it automaticly when I'm away or something? I'm on Win8.
And if I should do it manually, what is the best software to use, the one included with Windows or 3rd party software?
Ultramon.
Aside from extending the taskbar across monitors in XP it also allows for icon snapshots so if Windows decides to rearrange everything you can revert back to the snapshot.
Nx Sensor is also pretty good for monitoring voltages, fan speeds and temps on your hardware.
f.lux is stupid and doesn't accept my location :c

Set the transition speed to 60 minutes. When you're using your computer, it'll subtly change the tone to "night-mode," which in the end is much easier on the eyes. If you change it quickly, it can be a bit unappealing, but the subtle change is very nice.
All flux manages to do is make my eyes burn.
Also, I have a copy of Hiren's burned to a CD and I always have it in my drive. I then have access to tons of tools, most even listed above.

I myself use the WinExplorer and ShiftWindow combination. Takes a bit more time, but it works on any game. Here's the guide how to use it.
Running in borderless mode is not such a bad idea, sometimes I do something on my other monitor
and the specific game I'm running will minimize.

So much easier to use. You can just drag the four arrows icon onto the window you want and BAM, it's borderless.
There's always HiJackThis. Compliment to CCleaner.

Yuck. A good free RAMdisk with no limitations is ImDisk - http://www.ltr-data.se/opencode.html/#ImDisk
You can save the RAMdisk to your hard drive if you need it later. Super useful when working with editing video clips and manipulating media.
