Just listen to his second question and watch it go downhill from there.
This might be too embarrassing to watch.
It was.
I was hoping for physical "ownage".
Shes still pretty confused.
:smug: Damn this bitch is dumb.
Shes related to George Bush
i hate how people toss the word "socialism" around like it's evil, there are so many "socialist" programs in place that people take for granted.
She doesn't know shit about politics, she says that, so why the hell is she talking about it?
Lessons learned:
1. Don't debate with someone who is more informed than you.
2. Don't discuss politics if you don't know about politics.
3. Don't talk out of your ass.

3. I talk out my ass for fun
2. I discuss politics, and usually when the people I talk to get into debate's It gets real fun I did this last year in school and I would be able to keep an entire class from starting just by starting a war discussion with my teacher than everyone would jump on the band wagon and we would have a great time.
1. Sometimes its fun being a dumbass :smug:
Actually, Obama is for single payer.

It wasn't just something she pulled out of her ass. This was back when he was a Senator, in 2003.
Also what's wrong with her second question? It sounded pretty logical to me.
She basically said she wants to get back to the way that the Founding Fathers envisioned this country. What's wrong with that?
She shouldn't touch politics.
He was playing hardball and winning.
That was more like slow pitch softball, and she still couldn't keep up
Because the founding fathers couldn't possible imagine what would be the best for the county in hundreds of years later.
Hardball? :wtc:
Socialist? Like the UK then?
Edit: Why do people bother with people like her?
Supah Edit : What are we in the 70s? Why is everyone against socialism all of a sudden.
Cunt doesn't know her place

Supah Edit : What are we in the 70s? Why is everyone against socialism all of a sudden.
Because lately, those who don't like what's being proposed, are plastering commercials all over the TV, associating it with Socialism, then associating socialism with Big Red Russia, Stalin, Evil Death Panels, No more Public Choice! It's not even close to the same thing, or true, but the way the Media in America is, you can't rely on it, at all, but these people are, and that's where the problems are coming from
Universal Health Care, If you want you can keep the same Doctors you have now, the same plans you have now... so What in the hell's the problem!?
Why do Americans have such a hatred for anything socialist?
It's not going to destroy your country to have socialist healthcare - if anything, it should help.
She said why: she isn't interested in politics.
[editline]12:45PM[/editline]
That means she jumps on the biggest bandwagon she can find.

the founders aren't infallible
Thanks to what the founders "envisioned", we had the Civil War. Because they wanted to preserve the self-interests of moneyed Americans, they put aside the issue of slavery until a later date. That, and the founders aren't a hive mind with a single set of beliefs- see the feuding between Hamilton and Jefferson.
What exactly would we "get back to?" Which founder and what set of beliefs would we fall back on?

That is an incredibly dumb thing to say, do you realize that?
That is an incredibly dumb thing to say, do you realize that?
why is it dumb
The founders aren't infallable.
Why?
The CIVIL WAR SLAVERY CIVIL WAR
Well dog the slave trade was banned before the Civil War and that ban was upheld in the CSA constitution, and it even became a pattern for prominent, early political figures to set their slaves free.
The only people who had slaves during the civil war were a VERY small financial minority that essentially bought their way around the law.
[editline]01:11PM[/editline]
Furthermore Hamilton and Jefferson did not feud as you imply. Their views were extremely similar save a few key, small differences.
[editline]01:12PM[/editline]
Hamilton feuded with Aaron Burr
[editline]01:12PM[/editline]
And then Aaron Burr shot him

it was just one example
The issue of slavery wasn't resolved during the creation of the constitution and wasn't even recognized in the final draft of the Decl. of Independence. I can't remember the quote off the top of my head, but one of the founders explicitly said that slavery was an issue that would have to be solved at a different date.
Hamilton and Jefferson disagreed on the powers of the constitution and their disagreements set in motion a primative two party system; considering that, that is a pretty major feud.
