Personally, I find it funny. :v:
The message is kind of old, but I like the decent reminder of it. Not too sensationalist, either.
I like how she differentiate between freedom and American freedom.
It's an interesting discussion though. People always say they want freedom, but there's no shape or form of freedom without restrictions.
CNN's video player pisses me off
Thought what she said about being upset about being monitored, or more surprised that they'd tell us we're being monitored was interesting.

I got an ad for a car company that uses assembly line robots to repair any broken robots on the line.
What was that about "the robots need SOMEONE to fix them"? (don't get me wrong, I fucking LOVE robots, but there's just some jobs where there's no need to replace humans)

For some reason I can run multiple other video players at HD (even 1080p) with no buffering issues but I can barely run CNN's video player at standard definition without getting buffering

Yeah, this as well as comparing freedom and American freedom like sami-spo said, this really makes me think.
She was kind of attractive.
She poses some interesting ideas and questions. I wouldn't like drones flying above my city, watching our every move. The artist is clever.
I though it was going to be someone hacking into another one of those electronic road signs.

I wouldn't worry about drones, it would be just like CCTV in the UK. It isn't like the drones will be firing hellfire missiles at US citizens. It isn't like drones will be watching you inside your house or anything.
People in the US are far to paranoid when it comes to stuff like this. I also highly doubt a drone program will be used in the US seeing as it is way to expensive and wouldn't be effective.

And that's what scares me, maybe I don't like being recorded dozens of times a day like the average person in the UK
I enjoy the fact that she brought up "But what if these drones caught a terrorist, or a murder. Would we be okay with it then?"

I wouldn't.
And that's what scares me, maybe I don't like being recorded dozens of times a day like the average person in the UK
If you don't want to be recorded, don't leave your house. It's not like you should have much of an expectation of privacy in public, anyways.
And that's what scares me, maybe I don't like being recorded dozens of times a day like the average person in the UK
I mean I'm from the UK but I've lived in various parts of the world but spend most of my time in the US.
And you're not exactly recorded at all times during the day. It isn't like there are cameras every 2 feet, they're basically in main areas that people congregate,Alleyways and such.
Americans are recorded every day at traffic lights and other traffic areas.
I don't understand why people from the US are paranoid of being recorded. CCTV is actually very effective and allows police to be proactive. What is so scary about being recorded in public? People don't know who you are, it is like sitting in public and a hundred people see you. If you're not committing crimes or involved in illegal activity then you're simply another by-standard. CCTV is intended to be a part of law-enforcement so they can be proactive and record crimes in progress.

America has roadside cameras everywhere.
Your point there is moot.
In all honesty I barely notice all the cameras here. I say, if you got nothing to hide, there's no need to worry.
I mean, it's not like being recorded is a crime in and of itself. Unless you're constantly worried you've been framed for something or broken the law without noticing there's nothing to fear.
Her voice makes me want to ejaculate rainbows.
I'm really into political/philosophical street art
That sign is actually pretty cool since people don't care about what government tells us to do and so we just following every sign like lost sheep

Don't shops have security cameras in them aswell? Personally I think most people who get angry about it just want something to be angry about with no real reason behind it.
CNN's video player pisses me off
Can't really watch it on mobile...
"MOVE ALONG CITIZEN"
Damn Combine police.
Infowars is gonna have a field day with this.

Not as regularly placed as in the UK, though I obviously get your point. All of you guys bring up good points and I can understand why you would want CCTVs like in the UK.

If shops have security cameras it's because they pay for it themselves to install it, it's privately owned
they should do it everywhere, have like signs that say weird stuff and see if people notice them
or have an arg made out of them
Fucking videoplayer spent five minutes "Optimizing video" and then skipped to the next video in the playlist.
A little off topic, but that CNN News chick is pretty hot.

Why does who pays for it matter at all? The point is you still get recorded probably on a daily basis, assuming you leave the house.

Complete lack of national security and safety master race

AKA virtually no surveillance outside private cameras.
