Ey. Because of the latest games and future ones coming soon, I'm afraid my computer won't be enough to handle it. So far I've been able to play most games with no problem at all, except Metro 2033, though I'm not sure if it was from a bad DVD or from my computer. Either way, I'm looking to upgrade my computer to something far more powerful, please keep in mind that I'm going to install Windows 7 (64-bit) on it, and well, dual boot with Linux. Thing is, I'm not such a big expert when it comes to a graphics card and that's mostly where I need your help. My budget is 800-1200$, though bear in mind that I'm not living in the US and prices slightly differ here. Here's an HTML of my current specs, thanks for your help. Nope. Not clicking that link. Post the specs here. Also, this might be better suited here: http://www.facepunch.com/forums/243-PC-Building
With that i5, you'll do fine with every game. It's the graphics card that I'm worried about, which appears to not exist. And to those who won't click the link, he has an i5 610 at 3.33 GHz and 4GB RAM. We need to know the Power Supply Wattage and Graphics card. I'm assuming the graphics card is either integrated or extremely shitty considering the computer is new enough to have an i5
Buy a $210 card or a $500 card. :downs:
I just want to know why he recommended a 6990..you can get two 6970s for much, much less than a 6990 + they would be quieter..
Would the cards you guys recommended work fine with the motherboard that I have?
It has a PCI-E slot, it will be fine.
