That's right folks, your childhood beckons you back to the cinema. Jurassic Park is returning on September 23rd to cinemas across the UK. So far, no news on if there will be a US release, but I will keep my eyes open. The Re-Release will use the new Blu-Ray footage with 7.1 looseless surround sound making it the best cinematic experience of your life. If you didn't get get a chance in 1993, now is the time to go.

I was kind of hoping it'd be another sequal, but whatever.
Oh yes, Oh God yes.
Just take my cash now.
This is awesome, they did the same with Back to the Future last year and I went to see that.
Expected the news of a fabled JP4 but this is just as good, definitely gonna be seeing this baby on the big screen.

UK release only bud. No US one announced.
There had better be a U.S. release!
Still haven't seen the original Jurassic Park. I bought the DVD a little while ago and have never watched it.
Been too busy showing my little sister the original Star Wars movies.
You must watch it! It's one of the few movies that's better than the book.
If there isn't an American release, there will be a riot I guarantee you. It will be like Vancouver and London combined.
This movie came out on the year of my birth... it has defined my intrigue with dinosaurs... FUCK YEAH IM GONNA WATCH THIS!
I love T. Rex's roar
It still amazes me how a movie made so long ago can still live up to the CGI standards of todays movies, and on most occasions greatly exceeds them.
Hopefully it'll come to Australia.

Jurassic park really doesn't have THAT much CGI in it. There's a lot of animatronic work in the movie, and when CGI is used, it's used sparingly, as in, the only CGI are dinosaurs. In a lot of movies, entire scenes and backgrounds and environments are rendered, whereas in Jurassic park, it was all shot in hawaii (I think), and allowed more computer processing power to be used for the dinosaurs, how much that affects the shots with CGI I'm not sure of though, that's my best guess
Well even still. The first scene with the T-rex and those 4WD's. They were both CGI in some parts and managed to look amazing!
I hope this is UK as a whole and not just the mainland. I want to see it in Northern Ireland.

I really don't think that they'll skip out on America.

This statement, however true, is completely negated due to how much better the 2nd book was than the 2nd movie.

And that'll be just the damage that I cause.
US release, now.
Shut up and take my money.
i remember my parents letting me watch this as a young kid even though they show dismembered arms and shit
and yet i couldn't play teen rated games :\
To this day, no matter how many times I've seen it, the kitchen scene always makes me nervous.
AWESOME
this was my favorite movie when i was 3-4

Pretty sure I said this before in a JP thread here, but all close-ups are done using animatronics, and all wide-shots/action shots are like 90% CGI. It's also why it still holds up today. Phil tippett is a genius.
you guys do know that a new trilogy is planned to be made? joe johnston is apparently to direct.
also, there had better be a US release, spielberg wouldn't jew out on us like that (pun intended).

Ha, I know, it's one of the scariest moments in film I've ever seen. That and the T-Rex getting out and coming within a foot of that girl and Dr. Grant's face.
Just watched The Social Network again recently, forgot Tim was in it.
And just last week I said I'd love to see the first movie on a big scree-
...Wait, UK only? What the fuck?!
Suck my fucking balls.
Every time I watch this movie, I poke more and more holes into it.
I still love it
