Two quick questions since I'm not a veteran (yet) of Facepunch:
1) What does -SNIP- mean?
and 2) Why sooo many high-poster bans? Seems like every high poster that has posted before the last 6 months have been banned O.o
Thanks!

1) -snip- means when someone removes the context of their own post, since posts on facepunch cannot be deleted.
2) I assume that by high poster you mean someone that has a large number of posts. Usually these people have more bans then other users due to them posting so much, they make more mistakes that ultimately get them banned.
Also for future reference post questions like this in the "questions about the forums" thread, questions like these don't deserve their own threads.

I figured as much, just had to make sure.
Any reasoning on the high ban count or just a trend of the forums? O.o
1) Snip mean that someone wrote something and didn't want anyone to see it, and because you can't delete posts, they replace everything with the word "snip"
2) They let power get to their heads and did stupid things that got them banned.

1) snip means that the person who made a post regretted the content of said post, for whatever reason, and no longer wished to be displayed. They then edited their post to say "-snip-" instead of whatever it originally said.
2) Think of it this way: every day, there is a chance, however small, of getting banned. Every day, this chance compounds. Eventually, through the magic of statistics, one is virtually guaranteed to get banned. People who have been here longer have had more days, and thus more chances to get banned.
Also, this kind of thread might be better off in somewhere like fast threads rather than General Discussion.
