I finished up my first album finally, it's an acoustic lo-fi crybaby bullshit album

you can download if you'd like, it has a set your own price but i left free as an option, any feedback or downloads is highly appreciated!
Is it a band about Contra?
unfortunately no, i was just thinking in terms of the word itself.
I like the mouse click in the first song. heh.
work on the quality of your recording and singing, you sound really bored and the white noise combined with the compression your mic is creating makes it really hard to listen to
i like it though to be honest, just a few problems here and there
my microphone isn't that nice, it's a straight to USB mxl that had specific drivers for windows XP, but it doesn't have them for windows 7. So I have to do weird stuff to it in order for the music to be audible.
And sorry that's just my singing style haha. I'm not really too confident in my singing abilities but they are much better than they used to be.
But thank you for the feedback and for listening :)

That's a bad excuse.
fuck i realized that i uploaded one of the tracks twice, and I didn't even have my favorite one on there :|
Reuploaded it with the RIGHT song first, try listening to that one it's a much better vocal effort.
Well, I can say the last song was my favorite. The rest sounded like you recorded everything just after you woke up after passing out the night before, also like you just took one shot at each song and said 'good enough' once you got the lyrics right. If you recorded all of this while singing and playing at the same time, next time trying doing both separately.
Don't get me wrong though, you're on the right track. I was the same way with my first album.
I like doing the guitar and singing at the same time because it lets me coordinate them more, but I totally understand where you are coming from. I think if I had another mic I could properly mix both. But thank you for the advice, I'll try it sometime because I don't think I've ever tried singing over a guitar track.
