• £600-£700 Gaming build, need some help!

Hopefully in a few days I'll be making a purchase on the components for my first ever build, I didn't just want to give you a price and say "GO!", so I've tried to the best of my ability to find some nice parts that I think will go together, but I'm not entirely sure that they are all compatible. At £640 I have a nice leeway in case I need to change something, but I'd be reluctant to pay anymore than this unless the performance increase would be quite substantial. My main concerns are: - The case, I don't know if it will be good enough and I don't know if everything will fit. - Soundcard, do I need one? I use a 5.1 speaker system. - Compatability of all the parts. Here is the build in its current state. I already have a monitor, speakers, keyboard, mouse and OS. It's just the actual case and components I need. Any suggestions on how I could improve it would be grand, also if anyone has a particularly good guide for a first time builder to put this all together I would be grateful if they could share it, thanks guys!
I'd drop the extra cooler to get a 560ti.
I was thinking of going for the 560 instead, I was going to get the cooler because a friend suggested I might need one, are you sure I'll be alright without?
I have a 560Ti. So damn worth it.

A lot of people don't even buy separate coolers for their i5's.

Not really, don't impersonate michael jackson on a carpet before you start building, touch the inside of your case occasionally to discharge yourself, don't force anything into sockets. Everything is self explanatory.

I found that out the hard way, won't let you install OS through the disk drive. Once W7 (or w/e) is installed, it works fine.

Think I'd have much trouble temporarily taking the DVD driver of my old Dell to install the OS? I don't know how easy it is to reuse parts from pre-builts. Alternatively, would I be able to install it from USB?
(most) optical drives are versatile and work with pretty much all motherboards, so you should be fine if not then yes, you could just install something from an USB stick

Just install windows via USB or an external HDD and you'll be fine.
And as he mentioned, he has another optical drive from his dell computer. Read before you post, thank you.
