MGS4 gets so much shit for not being the same but I think it's a great story
The MGS games have always been interactive, it's a disservice not playing it. It works in the context, YOU are Snake, and both you and Snake have aged sometime since you first played MGS1

Yeah that's what I was thinking about
I still have MGS2 and MGS3 to finish up on the vita, Peace Walker to start on the PSP and MGR, Ground Zeros and Phantom Pain on PC so I don't think missing out on one game is that bad either way

I don't really know, I just always had a portable console and a pc and never any kind of a full console. I had a GBA and a PSP as a kid and I only got the vita because I was a huge PSP fanboy.
