Wouldn't it be better to have a Tamagotchi app the phone and produce the Tamagotchi toy in small quantities for those who are nostalgic for it? Get two markets for one.

Nooo an app is not the same at all, there's a really weird feeling knowing you can lose that tiny thing and your virtual pet at the same time.
