Niiiiiiiice. I've been wanting to get my hands on this great game again but I couldn't find a disced copy anywhere.
That's one of the best Medal of Honors in my opinion.

I had the disc'd version while I was cleaning out my room, they didn't work though.
Hopefully this Origin version will.
Also did a check on Origin, Allied Assault Warchest is on it too for $9.99.
And if you miss out, Pacific Assault is still $9.99, decent prices for old games if you asked me.

They mention that in the article, severs shut down ages ago.
I remember the multiplayer because it was the first EVER time when I was younger I ever did online play! I was always constantly asking folks where they came from because I was excited by meeting people from around the world!
Too bad Gameranger only has the Allied Assault trilogy for support, but maybe resurgence in attention for Pacific Assault will get support too.

Who knows, I'd be fine with just replaying the classic Single player campaign.

That's console exclusive.
Rising Sun is nostalgic but it is outclassed by Pacific Assault. This one of my favorite MoH games. The story was a lot more personal for a MoH game that made you think about who you and your squad mates were as both fighters and people. Plus, I loved the unique theater as it was relatively untouched at the time. Definitely a great game, I can't wait to nab it free.

Wouldn't mind seeing that Frontline HD version on the PS3 come to PC.
Medal of Honor Frontline and Rising Sun had great multiplayer on the PS2 to be honest. I never got to play Pacific Assault, I've been trying to get my retail to work but it never installs, I even spoke to the Origin live support and the guy told me about this, can't wait, I'm kinda excited about it.
